CONTEXT

With the launch of IXL’s new benchmark assessment, teachers needed a better way to understand how students were performing across academic subjects. My role was to design two new reporting features — Strand Analysis and Standards Analysis — that would help teachers make sense of complex performance data and turn it into action.

From early sketches to final designs, I focused on creating intuitive, flexible tools that supported different teaching workflows. Whether it was grouping students by skill level or breaking down mastery by state standard, these reports were built to help teachers spot trends, uncover learning gaps, and make faster, more informed decisions in the classroom.
